Ignite 360: a great tool for college sports recruitment and scholarship opportunities!

Do you have a high school student hoping to play sports in college?  Their level of preparedness can often determine whether they will be offered a spot and possibly a scholarship.  Ignite 360 can help with the confusion surrounding college athletics.

IMG Performance, the division of IMG Worldwide that houses the world-renowned sports training institution, IMG Academy, has launched an innovative sports performance training system called Ignite 360.  The system, derived from the Ignite Performance Training methodology honed over three decades of developing elite-level athletes at IMG Academy, offers fully customizable training programs and a unique comprehensive system for measuring progress.  The high school average for sending graduates to a Division I (D-I) athletic programs is less than 3%; however, in the last four graduating classes, 60% of IMG student-athletes have committed to a D-I university.  IMG created the Ignite 360 program to bring this type of success to students and trainers throughout the country.

In terms of evaluation, the i360 Max Evaluation is the global measurement standard for improved sports performance, recognized as the baseline for a comprehensive training program. It looks at an athlete across three major categories including Athleticism, Movement and Self Discipline.  There is a possible 360 points available in the 21 different events that the evaluation offers.

Once an athlete completes the evaluation process the results are posted in a database that is available to college recruiters to search and find possible candidates to fill the needs of D-I, D-II, Da-III, and D-IV sports teams.  Then a multifaceted plan is created specific to the athlete to strengthen any weaknesses that are uncovered.   After a period of training the athlete is then retested and the scores are re-posted.  The higher the score the more attractive the athlete becomes to recruiters.

Currently there are only ten Ignite 360 trainers in all of Illinois.  Kate Mitchum, the owner of Go Hardball Training Academy in Lake Zurich, is one of them.  Kate has worked with and evaluated hundreds of athletes and has a passion for helping them reach new levels of performance.  For more information and to schedule your evaluation you can reach Kate via email Kate@gohardball.com or phone 847-393-0123.
